Adult Ed Information
June 28 – Adult Ed Zoom Call – 4 pm – Sharing our Racial Justice Explorations
In this time of upheaval seeking an end to systemic racism, this is a chance to share what you’ve been up to that has been impactful to you. And a chance to find others who would like to share experiences with you.
Come with your thoughts around questions like these:
Where and how have you been in action?
What have you seen while you’ve been out and about that has impacted you?
Where have you been on a pilgrimage? (physical or mental)
Where have you linked in and what have you learned for yourself?
What have you been reading and what did it shift for you?
Where would you like to be in cahoots with others?
The adult ed committee would also like to invite anyone interested in hosting another meeting on a topic of their choice to let us know. We’ll help with meeting logistics and you can drive the content and facilitation!

One, begin by observing 8 minutes and 46 seconds of silence and then say aloud his name, George Floyd. Two, it is communion Sunday so you’ll need to prepare your elements (bread and wine/juice). A little explanation about the worship this Sunday. It is only me and I am outside for every part. I have never recorded a service outside, so I wasn’t prepared for the engagement of people as they walked by and chatted. The first two videos are outside of Judson. The third video, for communion, is near 38th and Chicago. Here is the link for the worship “Showcase.” I want to express my sorrow at the loss of some of the beautiful music for this Sunday (the camera was acting funny). So you don’t get to hear Jim’s amazing setting of I Know that My Redeemer Lives and you do not get the fullness of Within the Love of God (but hey, even half a song by Jim & John is better than a full song by most!).
