Choir and Music

Adult Choir
Our excellent adult choir, under the direction of John DeHaan, performs most Sundays September through May.  The choir sings a variety of music  from classical to contemporary.  Although we work hard at practice, choir night is always fun and new voices are always welcome.

Special Ensembles
The Judson Brass, Judson Youth Saxophones, and Gospel Five inspire and entertain us at various time through out the year.

Special Music
A highly anticipated annual event is Jazz Sunday, which takes place in February.  Music for Jazz Sunday is provided by a combo of top-notch local jazz musicians and usually features a number by the Judson youth combo.

The annual Minneapolis Trombone Choir Concert, usually in March, has been a highlight at Judson for more than 30 years.  Jim ten Bensel is the director and proceeds go to support the Judson Music Program.

Summer Sundays at Judson are an opportunity for members of the congregation to share their musical talent by signing up to provide music for one of our Sunday services.  We are amazed and delighted by our talented Judsonites, young and old alike.
