Sunday mornings are a cornerstone of Judson. You will find a warm community of people that will meet you wherever you are on your faith journey. The typical service features beautiful special music from the choir or guests, has time with children with the full congregation, a personal reflection from a member and an engaging sermon. The service is followed by an Education Hour for both children and adults, and a time of fellowship and refreshments.
Dress for your comfort; you will find everything from suits and dresses to t-shirts and jeans. Children are always welcome in the service, but there are also activities available during the service for children second grade and younger.
The communion table is open to all who wish to participate. You do not need to be a member — you are always welcome at the table.
As an American Baptist Congregation, Judson actively supports many progressive issues, including strict separation of church and state, religious freedom, respect for the faith of others, racial, cultural and theological diversity, and the welcoming of all people.
Here the Christian story takes on meaning and relevance in our lives: honoring our deepest differences, seeking justice and mercy, discovering and implementing our gifts, and nurturing our children.
