Whole Farm Coop
Change the world one meal at a time.
“Whole Farm Co-operative represents 30 member families in Central Minnesota. They are committed to creating farms that nourish our families spiritually and economically, sustain the environment, and provide eaters not only with safe wholesome food, but with a clear sense of who and where their food came from.” http://wholefarmcoop.com/
Judson Church studied various aspects of the food system in a 10-week Adult Forum session in the mid-1990′s, and decided to commit to this collaboration between rural MN farmers and urban MN eaters. We were the first church to do so, in a group of about 20 churches and organizations who now partner with this Long Prairie based cooperative.
The justice aspects of this collaboration – particularly getting more of the food dollar into the hands of working farm families – were important to Judson members. The extraordinary food qualities, especially grass-fed beef, pastured and free-range chickens, eggs, and pork have kept us committed to this type of agriculture for the past decade.
Join us in this commitment. Orders are placed and dropped off at Judson for pick up once a month. Our contact at the Whole Farm Coop is: Kristin Wilson – 320-732-3023.
