Children and Youth

Judson’s Vision for our Children:
The children and youth of Judson Church will experience the love of God within our faith community.  Here, the Christian story will take on meaning and relevance for their lives so that they become persons of faith: biblically literate, prayerful, seekers of justice and equipped to reflect on moral decisions in light of faith.

Judson has a long history of commitment to children’s spirituality. Here’s a little bit of what we believe and how that manifests in our spiritual lives here.

• We believe that children have a lot to teach adults about spirituality and living in the present, so we are thoughtful to involve them fully in church life and our worship services.
• We are committed to an Intergenerational experience for all of us at Judson, because we know it deepens spirituality for everyone when we do.  We share time after services with snacks together and create unique experiences where adults and children can learn and explore together.
• We are committed to a strong child and youth community and we work hard to create, and encourage individuals to intiate all kinds of experiences for children and families to get together, outside of Sunday worship.
• We believe that a strong and vibrant spiritual foundation combined with a rich community have amazing power in a child’s life to help them develop a strong moral compass to guide them through their whole lives.
