Upcoming Special Music

The highly anticipated annual event  Jazz Sunday, will take place on February 12, 2012.  Music for Jazz Sunday will be provided by a combo of top-notch local jazz musicians this year lead by Jim ten Bensel and Scott Johnson.

The annual Minneapolis Trombone Choir Concert, is scheduled for March 18, 2012 at 7:00 pm. This has been a highlight at Judson for more than 39 years.  Jim ten Bensel is the director and proceeds go to support the Judson Music Program.

Judson “It Gets Better” Project Video

 If you are interested in making a difference in the lives of youth who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or queer and are being bullied, please join the 15 Judson people who have already said “yes” to helping out with planning or creating a video for the Trevor Project’s “It Gets Better” campaign <http://www.itgetsbetter.org/>.  The plan is to put together a video that says to LGBTQ people, “Judson cares!” and “There is a welcome and place for you.” This is a great way for you to express that EVERYONE truly has a place here! We will be doing the work this fall and posting the results on the Judson and YouTube web sites.  If you are willing to help or want further information please contact Jim Kuether jkuether@comcast.net (612-226-5417) or Ross Aalgaard revross@mninter.net (call 612-879-6169).  We look forward to hearing from you!
